Opossum

What it looks a big mouse, it's an opossum, which is a marsupial of the Didelphimorphia order. It's very common in Florida and from the South of North America to Argentina. They can reach the size of a house cat and they eat reptiles, little birds, fruit and leaves. They live on the trees so they have robust nails and prehensile tails. Quello che sembra un topo in realtà è un opossum che un marsupiale dell'ordine dei Didelfimorfi. Sono molto comuni dal sud degli Stati Uniti fino all'Argentina. Possono raggiungere le grandezza di un gatto domestico, vivono sugli alberi e per questo motivo hanno unghie robuste e coda prensile. Si cibano di frutti, foglie, ma anche rettili e piccoli mammiferi. Quando vengono minacciati si fingono morti, tengono la aperta la bocca, emettono saliva schiumosa e addirittura fluidi puzzolenti emessi da speciali ghiandole. Maggiori informazioni su Wikipedia
