This is a tree in our garden. Early every summer it explodes into a fountain of purple-red flowers. The transition is always quick, from one day to another. And it only lasts for a few days.
Suddenly the tree is humming and buzzing with bees and other insects.
After a few days, the petals start to fall of and are eventually replaced by small non edible fruits. We call them "glass apples" allthough they are much smaller than real apples.
But on this day I enjoy the beauty of the flowers and the life around them. Enjoy!
