It's #wednesdaywalk time folks and today we had a funny little experience while walking the country paths of Cambridgeshire involving a blue flower, some aerial combat and a pink horse. Horse rustling is a thing?
Pretty blue flowers
As I walked along the path this wood pigeon came along for a short stroll. I was a bit surprised just how tame this pigeon was?
Headless Pigeon
Up on a high wire some pigeons were doing what they do. Cooing, pooing and flying.

Looking up at the end of your walk is a part of the wednesday walk task initiated by
Raptor at 11 o'clock high
As I was taking the photos of the birds and trying to get sharper focus. I pointed the camera down onto a horse in the distance and used it to focus the camera and by the time I got back on the Raptor it was too far away to get a better shot.
Meet Pink
As I was packing away a car pulled up beside me on this remote country lane. The window wound down and a voice said "Hello Michael"
It was my neighbour Carly. I said "Hi, how are you?"
She said. "I just got a call from my friend who said someone is photographing your horse!?"
This made me laugh at the thought that even on a quiet and remote country road someone is still watching you?
Anyway it turns out that the horse is Carly's and his name is Pink. Apparently there is a big problem with rustling in the countryside.
Yep you heard that right. Rustling is still going on in the 21st century and is costing £2.2m a yearNot exactly a crime wave compared to what the banks steal from the public every year but still upsetting for the owners.
