Ratoh jaroe is a dance which has combination movement from some other female traditional sit dance such as ratoeh duek, likok pulo, and meusekat.
This is creation dance that also known as traditional dance because the basic movement is from traditional dance but it has been modified to be more attractive and wonderfull.
Ratoh jaroe is performed by some uneven number of female performers. It also makes many dynamic and heroic, accompanied by rapai and Aceh poetry which read by a “Syahi”.
