Like other flower lovers I'm really fond of Orchid flowers. I've few species at the moment and hoping to increase more.
a bunch of Orchid hanging on a big tree and I've noticed it about 3/4 months ago, I was helpless as it was too high so found a professional climber today who helped me out to collect couple of bunches
I didn't pull out everything but left more than I've brought so that the plant could grow again~naturally.
I've tried to pull it down with a thin bamboo stick but couldn't able due to the roots were holding the branches of the Tree. So I've asked someone to help me out here and he did it for me.
My friend living in Singapore at the moment & he sent me his Orchid's picture! Believe me I just beg him to brought 4/5 types of these in the tube during his next travel to Bangladesh.
This man helped me out to brought these down! Couldn't able to find a good picture & he is shy to face the camera! First he pulled it out then through them into the ground ( basically in the canal's water!).
As I said in the beginning, look at the size of the Tree! It is huge and it is called Tamarind Tree. It produces pod like fruit.
I'll describe this in another post !
The seeds are somewhat flattened, and a glossy brown. The fruit is best described as sweet and sour in taste, and is high in tartaric acid, sugar, B vitamins, and, unusually for a fruit, calcium. Reference
Thanks Everyone!
