The Hotnitsa waterfall, or also called Kaya Bunar, is one of those places in Bulgaria that reveals the beauty and uniqueness of Bulgarian nature in full splendor. It is a small oasis that is worth seeing.
Kaya Bunar is situated on the outskirts of the village of Hotnitsa, 14 km. From the old capital city of Veliko Tarnovo. Hotton Waterfall is a favorite destination for nature lovers and locals who come here to relax and get away from their everyday problems. Hunt's cascade is the perfect place to escape from the heat during the summer and to have a picnic with friends and relatives.
You will certainly not have difficulty finding the way to the waterfall. It passes through the village itself, with a sign indicating where to go. You can reach the waterfall by car and there is a car park where you can leave your car.
From the waterfall begins a scenic eco path that goes up the wooden steps in the rocks and leads to unprecedented beauties and virgin areas. The eco path is only 1.5 km long, but winds along the Bohoth River and reveals to the visitors bizarre rock formations, small Water cascades and pits, wooden bridges, and green bees.
The good thing is that there is a spacious meadow and gazebo just outside the Kaya Bunar Falls. There you can sit and admire the splendor, coolness and coolness of the Hotnitsa waterfall. You will probably not be the only visitors, but the area is definitely captivating and it is good to visit places like these.
The waterfall is about 30 meters high and there is a bistro and an ice-cold dike. Bathing in the waterfall is forbidden, but no one can stop you from admiring this paradise.
Not far from the Hotnitsa Falls is another well-known landmark in the area, namely the Emen Canyon and the Emenian Waterfall of the same name.
