I wanted to share a few shots from one of my favorite places to hike in Georgia. Much of it was used as a quarry and now anybody can hike the two sides. This image was taken from the side that contains the actual part of the monadnock you can hike up.
FUN FACT!
Arabia Mountain has five species that are listed as both state and federally endangered, including the bright-red diamorpha plant that lives in small pools of water that form on the monadnock. It can only be found in the southeastern region of the US and isn't common.
