Restaurant in Shanghai in a parking lot. China has a whole culture around street food stands which pop up at night providing late nighters with exquisite but probably not the healthiest food. But these stands vanish quickly from the cityscape due to being made illegal by the communist party. So these restaurants are somewhat the last remains and the nearest you can get now to the old street food stands. But fortunately you can find some few remaining in Hangzhou, Beijing and other cities than Shanghai.
