Chau Son Monastery (Chau Son Chau Son Monastery, Chau Son Cathedral) is a monastery of the Xitô, located in Phu Son commune, Nho Quan district, Ninh Binh province. This monastery is located 65 km from Phat Diem Cathedral, 35 km from Ninh Binh city, 2 km from Nho Quan town center and 100 km from Hanoi.
Chau Son church is one of the lesser known places because this temple is hidden deep behind the main road, in a charming space with mountain, river and surrounding trees. According to the Proceedings of the monastery, this church was built in 1939, dedicated in 1945 by the dedication and money of Father Tran Tran Duc Trinh. There is a plaque engraved at the foot of the church, praising the merits of Father Phero

From a distance, the monastery looked like it was lying on its back. With the Gothic style, it is built of brick, no mortar scouring lime like churches or other works (due to objective reasons) but the rough to the surface to create the home.
