This first picture is just a stock google image, the rest are all my own. Taken today from my backyard in San Diego, far from the center but we still got a good view here in southern California. These shots were taken by hand through a cheep welding mask on my Nikon L610. One of these days I'll be able to upgrade.
It took a while to find the setting that worked through my janky set up here, but I eventually got some good ones.
After about a hundred test shots they finally started looking better, trying to get them centered one handed was another issue.
Not too bad for a glorified point and shoot camera, if I would have used the tripod they probably would have turned out better but I couldn't find it in time. hope you enjoyed the pics. please follow and upvote, ill do the same.
