Meeting new friends in Sri Lanka

We visited Sri Lanka with Hive account@penticton for a week. Amazing beaches, amazing and friendly people and animals everywhere. The first day on the beach we meet this "little" guy. It is a green sea turtle, which measured over a meter across the shell.

Our coconut guy told us that every evening a few turtles come to the beach and each one lays around 150 eggs.

A few days later we meet my favourite one.

He was just casually walking around the towels on the beach taking pineapple leftovers. The biggest waran I ever saw. Including the tail it was around 2 meters long.
