The photo's below were taken in summer last year, on a clear sunny day. My town, Gangtok, sits at around 4500 ft above sea level and is atop a large sprawling hill with other massive hills surrounding it.
My state Sikkim is also known as Denzong, a Tibetan word which means the valley of rice as rice fields are everywhere including on hills surrounding the town.
The photo's below are the views looking out from town on neighboring hills. I hope you like them.
All photos have been touched-up using GIMP, scaled in size and taken with my
mobile camera, Samsung Galaxy S6 edge
View from the town looking West. Notice the yellow patches on the hills across, they are paddy (rice) fields almost ready for harvesting.
The view towards the south.
