Cold Feet

Some waterfowl I met on one of my walks. I meet quite a lot of them, but we're not on first-name terms, as none have introduced themselves yet.

This mallard seemed hesitant to go into the water, surely an unusual state of mind for a duck:

The water was very cold; I checked.

This goose was being its usual loud self as it alerted all waterfowl of my presence:
