This moth has the slightly ominous but descriptive name of blood-vein (Timandra comae), yet is called lieveling ("darling" or "sweetheart") in Dutch, for no good reason I can imagine.
It is found in western and southern Europe. It's virtual twin, the Timandra griseata, is found in the rest of Europe. There's still some debate going on if these are really two separate species.
They fly from April to November, in two generations. Their wingspan is about 35mm (1.2").
These moths are not rare in The Netherlands, but somehow I rarely see them. I did manage to get one photo, though:
