Old Watermills in The Netherlands

The Netherlands may be flat, but there is still enough of an angle to make water flow, and good use has been made of that through the ages.

I proudly present three photos of the watermills in my region of The Netherlands.

The Oostendorper watermolen, near Haaksbergen:

There are a few more, and there is also a rather nice one near Alstätte called the "Haarmühle", but that one doesn't count, as it sits just across the border in Germany 8-).
