I got some rest and here is the last spring post from last year's vacation. The final destination of our trip was Slovenia.
I have a lot of photos and I prepared seven of them for you today.
It was a tough decision but I choose these:
Suspension bridge over the Soča river.
Where's the river?
Wild cherry blossom.
Look at these colors.
Peaceful village in the mountains.
Here's the river and another bridge. Napoleon's.
The original stone bridge was built in 1750 and his troops were marching over Soča river on their way north.
These are not just some plain spring flowers. The white ones will soon grow into tasty red, sweet wild strawberries.
Springtime - BBQ time.
I google the word today and find this:
So now you know - BBQ means "Barbecue" or "Better Be Quick"
Didn't know this.
Did you?
A new week ahead.
Nothing new here in Edmonton.
Spring, hehe?
Where?
It was minus 31 degrees Celsius this morning and just when it seemed we were in the clear (still at minus 15, though), Environment Canada has issued another extreme cold warning for over half of Alberta.
Have a great week, my friends.
