Many years before the internet and in times when Slovenia was still a part of Yugoslavia we thought that this is the only river in the world with this kind of color.

We were told soo in school. And many other odd truths.

We believed that.

We were proud and happy.

It's cold even in the summer.

Under the bridge

30 km from the source the color turns green.

I didn't do much traveling myself but I saw a couple of similar rivers later on. Online you can find them even more.

We lived in the illusion.

But you must admit that this time they were right.

The Soča River is beautiful, indeed.
