Now when I'm back at home again it's time to start browsing my new photo collection. I'll try to show you my take on new places we visited in no special order. It all depends on mood and time available.
If you find something of your interest you can always ask uncle Google or aunt Wikipedia for more thorough answers. I don't want to copy other people's work and research.
I saw some posts today for the colorful challenge by and Turkish pavilion at Global village in Dubai is a good match.
The entrance to the pavilion is quite unique. You enter through ship's body with country's name.
With a typical oriental lamp and decoration on the ceiling of the passage.
If you like the lamp you can buy a smaller version in your favorite color.
Turkish delight is the name of these. We order a couple of slices. they are delicious but a bit too sweet for my taste.
The gift shops remind me of fairy tales of Scheherezade.
I was expecting more colorful carpets but maybe I didn't take enough time to find the right shop.
This is what I call colorful.
You can buy a vase or a light for your nightstand too.
or nice ceramic plate for the hallway.
If you have a sweet tooth I would recommend some natural bio honey in the authentic package.
They have had an excellent ice cream at the exit. I was aiming the ship and only caught the signs.
We didn't buy the ice cream. The guys behind the shelter performing all kind of tricks and other tourist are laughing at you when you always stay with an empty cone in your hand instead one with the ice cream. Check them on YT if you don't believe me.
Have a great day, my friends.
