Indigo skies for Saturday. Clouds formed nicely late in the day and the sky looked like an El Greco. El Greco, the Spanish painter, painted many views of Toledo with crazy skies and I always thought it was overly exaggerated. Today I'm rethinking his work with the realization that his 16th century brain had capabilities well beyond those of an iPhone. He saw the world through filters that technology has only recently revealed. At the horizon you can see a silhouette of the Manhattan sky from Freedom Tower to the Empire State Building.
