Here we have an amazing story about my hunt for bass fish in the shallows!
I have seen the bass a few times and they are huge, as fishing is not allowed in this dam. The bass eat the babies of the coots and ducks in one gulp, which gives you an idea about the size of the fish.
But soon I forgot all about the bass fish!
Let me tell you the story!
Our favorite de-stress spot is an isolated dam with very few visitors.
While searching for the fish with my camera, my eye caught a movement in the grass near the reeds! As you can see it looks like there is nothing there!
Maybe the wind moved a grass blade, or a leaf?
But I am sure that you can also see the there is something in there?
Now if it is what I think it is, I am going to have to move very careful and slowly. The first priority was to get the sun opposite my approach, as a shadow or a movement and whatever it is will disappear!
Voila! There he is! Oh, I cannot tell you how happy I was, as it was my first "Golden Dragonfly"
Carefully I inched closer, but not careful enough. I got off 3 shots from this position, this picture, the first picture and the last picture in this post and stepped on a twig! Boom! He was gone!
This was the last shot, then he was gone!
What a blessing!
We hope that you enjoyed this true story and thank you for the visit to a post by
