Here we have a beetle in a growing granadilla fruit!
We took a walk through the apple orchards today and one lane in an orchard grabbed my attention, as it is the only apple orchard where a section of pears are also grown.
Let me show you!
This is the border line between the apple and pear orchards. To the right are the pears and to the left are the apples!
And here they are, the new young pears!
Not to be upstaged, here are the young Kivu brand apples!
And these are young Rosy Glow apples!
Oh! And the figs are also coming along!
Soon they will all be ripe and then the valley will transform into a variety of reds, yellows and greens. I will then post and show you some awesome sights. The big trucks are already delivering the hundreds of picking crates and a large workforce of laborers (pickers) will also be coming in. One large farm for instance, employs 850 pickers during the ripe season and there are many farms in the apple valley. Something to look forward to!
We hope you have enjoyed the pictures and thank you for the visit to a post by
