It's 7.30 in the morning the city of Fortaleza starts to move. I decided before going to work to take a walk through the center of the capital city of the state of Ceará in Brazil.
As I am a lover of photography I always look for interesting shots to register.
Here I found in av. Duque de Caxias This magnificent mural on the side of the building represents well the urban art that is widespread throughout the city, from the noblest neighborhoods to the slums.
As it was near I went to the São Sebastião Market to do some shopping and just before entering I ate a generous piece of very ripe and sweet pineapple that came from the State of Paraíba.
Then I got in and took a general walk past the fruit stands with great variety, especially the local ones such as cajá, cashew, coconut, acerola, guava, passion fruit.
I went up to the first floor where I found several shops with handicrafts of wicker baskets and straw.
I was curious about this bridge
that reminded me of another one that exists at the Dragão do Mar Cultural Center.
Now is the time to go to work

Passeando por Fortaleza
São 7,30 da manhã a cidade de Fortaleza começa a se movimentar. Eu decidi antes de ir trabalhar dar um passeio pelo centro da cidade capital do Estado do Ceará no Brasil.
Como sou amante da fotografia sempre ando atento a motivos interessantes para registar.
Aqui encontrei na av. Duque de Caxias este magnífico mural na lateral do prédio representando bem a arte urbana que é bem difundida por toda a cidade, desde os bairros mais nobres até as favelas.
Como estava próximo fui até o Mercado São Sebastião fazer algumas compras e logo antes de entrar comi um generoso pedaço de abacaxi bem madurinho e doce que veio do Estado da Paraíba.
Logo entrei e dei uma volta geral passando pelas bancas de frutas com grande variedade especialmente as locais, tais como cajá, cajú, côco, acerola, goiaba, maracujá.
Subi ao primeiro piso onde encontrei várias lojas com artesanato de cestos em vime e palha.
Achei curiosa esta passagem aérea que me relembrou outra identica que existe no Centro Cultural Dragão do Mar.
Agora são horas de ir trabalhar.
