I hope you enjoy my reimagination of a sewer drain. The pictures are only edited using the built-in editing of my camera to achieve certain looks otherwise there is no post-editing.
Often times we overlook the simple things found near our homes. These simple objects and places are used as homes by the Fae only to be noticed by those who look for them and know where to look. The old shed in your backyard that is only visited when necessary, the sewer drains under the roads in your cul-de-sac. These homes are often remodeled by the Fae because the forest dwellings they are so fond of are so much harder to find. Thousands of years ago, man and Fae shared the Earth. At least until humans made a deal to lose magic for technology, our eyes no longer hold the ability to see them, but they are there, hidden in the nooks and crannies of the world waiting for someone with the right eyes to see them again. Maybe it's you who can see them. My eyes can't but my grams always passed down stories of the Fae and where to find them in hopes one day they would reappear to us and help us fix Gaia back to its natural state. She always wondered if we had inadvertently killed them, But I like to believe they are still there waiting for us to realize our mistakes and have the one with the eyes, to be our champion.
