There was a special sort of show happening last night, and I felt compelled to attend. I've never seen Low perform and their lead singer and guitarist Alan Sparhawk was doing a solo set, before a full December tour in the British Isles.
The turnout to see him was pretty good.

He took some requests from the audience and singing the first one he stumbled on the lyrics and cracked up. Someone else then requested Low's song California which I really like. He did it really well by himself.
This was a tough one to shoot, the front stage lights here were even dimmer than usual. Most of these shots are at ISO 12800 with my f/1.4 50mm wide open. Thanks to the wonderful posts of
