My entry for People Photography by @worldcapture, week 37

Hi there my Steemian friends and followers!

If you are a regular visitor to my blog, you know that I love to take photos of animals, nature and landscapes and that I usually tend to avoid photographing people but one of my good Steemian friends Chris aka Hive account@worldcapture has been hosting a photo challenge that I have always wanted to participate in but it was not until now that I finally browsed my files in search of what could be a decent entry for his People Photography challenge.

I cannot believe it took me so long but here it is Chris, my very first entry to your photo challenge :)

I took this shot somewhere in the historic center of Old Havana, not far from the iconic Cuban bar La Bodeguita del Medio. The woman was dressed in traditional Cuban clothes and smoking a traditional Cuban cigar. I know she probably was just posing for tourists but she still looked very authentic and beautiful so I overcame my shyness and snapped that shot.

To my surprise, I found out I actually have more photos with some people in them so I am looking forward to joining some next rounds of your photo challenge too ;)
