Hi Friends!
Going a little out of the river subject - few shots from the woods.
Woodland photography is one of the most difficult in matter of landscape photography - there is always some elements in the surrounding which are destroying our "pure" composition.
Like I am saying - it is good to find a smaller pictures - focus on much narrow pictures then the wide ones - od course not always it works but sometimes help us to find something interesting.
It is a mix of understanding the basic composition rules as well as the work of the light, knowledge of our lens, depth of field as the forest is a very much 3d environment where many objects are placed much closer to us then in a big open spaces like mountains, seascapes etc...
It is a great exercise - finding something interesting in the woods, which will work well for our shots. Much easier is macro of mushrooms, flowers, detail, a bit harder is to capture the bigger image of the forest...
Hope these few images will be interesting enough :).
Cheers!
