Gotta keep expanding!

I'm sure you've seen me talking about my Redbubble shop quite a bit already. It's the one I'm putting most effort in at the moment, because I have managed to sell a couple of things there in the past.

I shouldn't put all of my eggs in one basket though, so I do upload my pictures to other places aswell. My Deviantart page is where I upload most of my stuff, without too critical an eye besides my first selection. Redbubble receives part of the pictures I've shared on Deviantart. The best ones.

Some time ago, a Steemian told me about EyeEm and said I might be interested in putting my pictures up for sale there aswell. So I checked it out and made an account! I uploaded a few pictures and then forgot about it. Today, I figured I should re-visit the idea and try to make a more complete portfolio on that site aswell.

So I uploaded some new pictures to my EyeEm profile (not new new, but new to that site new).

I went with a couple of pictures I took on our last zoo trip.

I didn't upload all of them yet, because I like to spread out my uploads over multiple days to get a wider audience.

I had also uploaded this one a couple of days ago:

It was added to the 'Premium' list, though I'm not sure what exactly that means. I should look it up sometime. Actually, I just did so now. This is what the site says about Premium:

The Premium Collection consists of partnerships with well-known image brands, such as Getty Images and Adobe. The images are hand picked by our photo editors as some of the strongest on EyeEm Market. Having your image selected in this category means that it will reach a larger amount of buyers, maximizing your selling potential.

So I guess that's a good thing, right? I now have 21 pictures up on EyeEm and 4 in the Premium list. Haven't made a sale yet though.

Another place I try to sell things is Vida, which I also heard about from a Steemian. I first uploaded a couple of my pictures there, but once I noticed how big of a preview they give, without even a proper watermark, I took my pictures off of the site. I later created a design to put on some of the shirts and pillows they sell. I have yet to expand my account there, but have already sold three pillows! So that's kinda cool and I should try to expand that account aswell. Just gotta think of a new design first. I haven't had my first payout yet and I'm thinking of waiting to dedicate a post to Vida until I've had my first payout. Maybe by then I'll have a new design up aswell!
