Time and Milk Cartons
I had imagined that come summer the fourth dimension would magically multiply, stretch out, and I would find free time lying around atop the time-spece continuum. Things are suppose to expand with more heat. Right? Who knows maybe the seconds have stretched out and I have unwittingly field up every extra nano with stuff to do.
Pitch and Putt. Movies and swimming. Trips to the planetarium and museums. Yep .. we do a lot. We try to do something everyday to balance out the homeschooling. Just little over a month to to until we enter Grade 8 proper. I probably miss the guided work more than minime, but here is one of our last project from Grade seven that he did enjoy.
From our studies ...
Janie seems like a typical, popular teenager. She cares about her homework and pleasing her teacher, but also daydreams in class and is a little shy. She is 15 years old and learning to drive. Janie feels restless with a desire to explore. She has a loving, functional, and happy family, with a mother and a father. She has beautiful, curly red-gold hair. She’s cute and small and seems to have a wonderful life.
Continued from our studies ...
Janie felt that her name, Jane Johnson, is dull and not memorable. She is always changing her name and doesn’t seem to connect her name with her identity. She is always trying to find a name that connects to who she is and might become.
More from our studies ...
Jane discovers that she was likely kidnapped as a little girl, and that she is the little girl pictured on the back of the milk carton. She remembered the dress and how it felt to wear it. And she remembered having that kind of hairstyle and the feel of the braids like red silk against her face as they swung.
