Mount Lemmon is a mile-high peak in the Santa Catalina mountain range near Tucson, AZ. This is significant because its elevation puts it high enough to have a ski resort and support ski slopes while residents of Tucson in the valley below enjoy temperatures of 60F and above. The elevation is not ridiculously high, but it is high enough to have some pretty beautiful views.
