Location is Down-town Beirut, after many years of clothing the (star square) in the middle of Beirut here comes now the time to reopen it in front of the public.
The oldest people have a lot of memories in this square in addition to the official buildings that exist in it like the Lebanese parliament.
This is the third visit for me and Syna to the DT After the reopening, the place is full of life again (i talked about the events that we attend before), today’s event was the “Feast in the square” where a band was singing some typical Lebanese songs and the traditional “Allita” (a Lebanese ka’ak “traditional bread” stuffed with thyme and/or different types of cheese) grilled on charcoal extremely delicious.
Like always we spent great time in there dancing, eating, watching the people watching the world cup (loool) and having fun.
This is the place where i recommend all Lebanese and tourists to visit, you will find the BC Beirut combining with the modern city. Simply a great place to be.
