We had a wonderful time at the local festival which takes place once a year...
NIAHMEROS is the synthetic name of this festival and it comes from the words ENNIA and MERA which translates : NINE and DAY
Quite straightforward name for a festival that actually back in the days lasted for nine days...DUH!
Now it only lasts 3 days and every next year is getting worse...
Merchants from Greece trying to sell their goods in extremely low prices and most of the times in bulk.
But you guessed it correct...as years pass...this festival will be remembered as "the place where every local goes to buy socks and underwear"
Fun Fact : we actually use the name of this festival to describe someone who acts like an idiot-lunatic
