The Cathedral Caves are a series of marine caves located on the coast of The Catlins on the South Island of New Zealand. They are one of the most famous attractions in the area. The two main caves, within the cliff, have a span of 30 meters. The access to the caves from the highway forces to cross private properties, having to pay a fee to cross them. They can only be accessed for two hours a day, while the tide is low.
