The black kite (Milvus migrans)
Probably the most numerous of birds of prey in Siberia.
It can be seen everywhere! In yards, forests, on the river. Gracefully fly around the territory, looking out for prey.
Here he caught a fish :) on the river there are a lot of them. They just fly up to the river, and pull the fish out of the water.
In addition to fish eat small animals.
Here he sits on a dug ground, waiting for some mouse to crawl out.
(Photo murky, because it does not come into focus, he was very-very-very far away)
I noticed their "friendship" with the crows. First the kite flew around the field, and then, seeing a flock of young crows, flew to them, and sat next to them. They, apparently, also waited for the appearance of mice.
People are very wary of people. I would never have thought that great birds of prey are more cowardly than small ones! Close to them can not be got close.
