Kalk Bay is a coastal fishing village situated on the western side of False Bay, Cape Town, Western Cape, South Africa. It is a suburb of the City of Cape Town and has its own harbour. It's Afrikaans name is Kalkbaai (Lime Bay). Kalk Bay is popular with tourists passing through, retirees, holidaymakers and commuters. Leisure activities would include sunbathing, surfing and visiting the local pubs and restaurants.
