This photo was taken by my iPad camera. I was out picking up dog poo and saw this beautiful butterfly. I can't believe it let me walk right up on it and take a picture. However the sun was shining directly on my iPad screen and I had a hard time catching a good photo. I wanted his wings to lay out flat so I could see the full pattern of colors and design. The butterfly was so excited over all the flowers he/she wouldn't sit still!

This will be the next butterfly I paint. The next series of butterfly paintings will come this September, which is also my Steemit birthday, I will be 1 year old!
