This is the ice-cream bean and wow what fun and funky fruit it is! These hard and rather uninviting pods hold the most sweet and delicious treats. They pop out looking like marshmallows and have a really sweet and creamy taste - rather like vanilla and cream mixed together hence the ice-cream bean name.
I don't think fruit was ever so much fun!!! A perfect healthy sweet snack for children and adults alike.
