This beautiful frog seemed to defy gravity as it sat sleeping , glued to my bathroom window all day.
I don’t know what this fruit is that this howler monkey was feeding on, it is the first time I have seen it. It has so high up in the tree I was only focusing on the monkey and it wasn’t until I looked through the photos I had captured up close that I noticed the fruit.
It can be very tricky to see the wildlife so high in the treetops. Quite often I can see branches clearly shaking, even breaking but getting a clear sight can take days of attempts and a lot of patience is required.
You also need to take staring up into the trees where the howlers are hanging out as they regularly urinate and it falls like a waterfall that needs to be avoided quickly the instant you hear it happening!
The bird nesting on my balcony has been so hard at work feeding these babies since they hatched. It is getting easier to photograpgh them now they are getting bigger and their heads stiff out above the edge of the nest all the time now.
These were taken using my Canon PowerShot SX60 HS
