I took these photos a few months ago, this is the view from the other side of the apartment complex where I live in Queenstown, New Zealand.
Due to the high mountains and changeable weather there is often some amazing light effects in New Zealand.
The illuminated hill is Dear Park Heights. This is one of the Lord of the Rings filming locations.
The mountains in the background are The Remarkables. The built up area on the left is the main centre of Queenstown.
There are very vibrant colours in New Zealand
