The Camas wildflowers are finally blooming at my favorite meadow for wildflower photography, Sagehen Meadows. I've shot there many times over the years and have gotten many great photos. This year, I finally timed it right and got Buttercup and Camas wildflowers in the same shot. The Buttercups bloom first and usually die off right before the Camas bloom. Bonus, I also got a little lady bug in my shot this year!
Here are a couple of photos from a few days ago. Most of the Camas actually hadn't started blooming yet but I'm hoping to go out there again soon as it is looking to be a big year for flowers out there.
These were shot on a Canon 5DS R with a 24-105mm lens. A graduated neutral density filter and a polarizing filter were used to bring out a bit more blue color in the sky. There was no wind or breeze so I was able to use a slower shutter speed and an aperture of f22.
Thank you for looking!
