At 2 am, hiking 2.5 hours to Kjerag Boulder in semi-darkness was difficult, the trail was often hidden by the night, but the destination validated everything. At 4:30 am we were alone with the boulder and made some of the most spectacular pictures of the trip.
Surprisingly, a Lithuanian female was camped out alone before we arrived also waiting for the sunrise.
Below the photo shows the spectacular landscape right before as the boulder comes into sight.
