Greetings Steemians!
After a delicious and sumptuous dinner which I enjoyed at the end of my last post, I went on a digestive stroll along the bay.
The west orientation of the bay makes Mátala a great place to enjoy the setting sun. The golden glow that illuminates the alleys and the surrounding sandstone is just marvellous:
The bow of a ship that never moves...
(In fact, it is the terrace of a restaurant, modelled after a ship's bow. Can you see the exotic bird, too?)
The last rays of the sun.
After the sun has set, spotlights take over and illuminate the sandstone rocks. Quite a stretch for my iPhone's cam.
Venus, the "Evening Star" appears over the cliff. Time for a good night's sleep before heading to the next destination.
Thanks for watching and 'til next time!
Shaka
