There is one beautiful place in Chile (although, of course, not one — there are many of them) called the Moon Valley or Valle de la Luna in Spanish. It is located in the Atacama desert in the north of the country.
And I honestly don’t even know what words to describe it with. Unearthly, with Lunar or Martian landscapes, majestic, mysterious... I can try a lot to choose epithets and not convey all the images and sensations. Because it’s better to see this place, and best of all — to see with your own eyes.
It is worth to look at the land and sand dunes, which it seems that no human foot has stepped on, see sharp, jagged rocks, iridescent, deceptive surfaces, complex shadows. It is worth experiencing the feeling that you are on the moon if you come here at dawn, sunset or night in the moonlight — or that you are on the ruthless, incandescent Mars, if you come here on a sunny (and there are practically no others here) day.
Even photographs from here can be looked at for a long time, and I'm not tired of doing this. I hope you don’t get bored too — because I still have enough of them :)
It's better to watch the photos in high resolution.
