Went here on a recent trip to Turkey. It's amazing to think that it was built in 155 AD. Its 314 feet high and in the Turkish summer heat, was quiet an energy sapping climb up all those steps. It seems remarkably well preserved, considering its age. It's one of those places that you can't really do justice with photos, you have to go there to experience it. They hold an international opera and ballet festival here every year, what a great place to do it.
I had to use panoramic sweep on my phone to get as much in as possible
