Today I'm sharing a photo that I took a few days ago while visiting my parent's house. All around their house, they have a bunch of really neat light bulbs. In their washroom, they have several of fancy light bulbs just like the one found below. As you can see, these bulbs have some very elaborate filaments that can be easily seen when they are light up.
There are a few big drawbacks from these types of light bulbs in my opinion though. Despite their decorative and stylistic appeal, they give off very little light when compared to an LED alternative. Additionally, they are also much less efficient and give off a lot of excess heat that their LED counterparts do not. Finally, they also cost a lot more to replace compared to LED bulbs, and their lifespan is much shorter.
All in all, I am personally a much bigger fan of LED bulbs for my own place since they are so practical. I must admit though that there sure is something nice about the style and appearance of these fancy incandescent bulbs!
