Zion is incredible. In any case, I don't believe it's that greatly improved than different parks I've been to. I think Canyonlands is similarly as beautiful.

I've been everywhere throughout the world and Zion overwhelmed me.

I didn't make it to Canyonlands so I can't think about specifically however Zion is exaggerated which is as it should be.

Southern Utah has so much awesome stuff that its hard to truly think about every one of the parks down there. They are largely wonderful.

Among all US National Parks however, Grand Teton. Pass on the best thing I have ever looked at.
