Patan Durbar square is a Hindu as well as Buddhist pilgrimage, located in the heart of lalitpur, Nepal. It is one of the 4 Durbar square in the country. It was made by the gr8 malla king in 12th century. It is made up of red brick and the art work of Newari style can also be seen in the pilgrim.
It was used as a castle of malla king back in that ages, but now Patan Durbar square is a UNESCO
world heritage sites, which invites alot of tourist to introduce its beauty and history of malla king and their civilisation.
In April,2015 an earthquake of high magnitude hit Nepal. and brought destruction all over the country. It killed several thousand people and thousands of houses and pilgrims were also distroyed and among them patan durbar square were also affected by earthquake. And till now it had already been 2 yrs since the earthquake hit nepal but no any care and stolen monument of patan was recovered
