Hiking the Oregon Trail #4: Jacksonville Forest Park

This was a super awesome trail that we went through! The entire trail network has over 25 miles of intricate trail systems that carve through the forest and mountains. We only went through a few of the trails, and ended up doing approximately 6 miles. It was mild hike, with a very manageable incline. I can't wait to go back and check out some of the trails on the ridge. I'm sure it would yield an epic view of the Oregon landscape :) .

Enough rambling, and onto some of the sweet views and interesting history that this hike provided!

We passed a dried up creek very early in the hike. Sad days for mother nature.

Just imagine the horrific pain of getting 'steamed' to death. Not nearly as awesome as being 'steemed' to death ;)
