Dear steemians,
everybody of you knows about the nobel peace prize.
Have you ever heard about Gustav Vigeland?
He was a Norwegian sculptor and lived from 11 April 1869 – 12 March 1943. Also it was him, who designed the nobel piece prize medal. So far so good. Winter 2006 I was tattooing as a guest artist in Oslo Grunerlokka next to Frogner park with his Vigeland installation. I took my chance to visit the famous sculptures. In my opinion the opposite of cute but very interesting.
It was a rainy evening with almost no daylight and in the shortest time a very cold wind gave the sculptures an ice layer. It was just a little moment and the ice vanished again. In 2006, I had just a small Sony V3 and as you will notice, there are amounts of grain and noise. And the focus was sometimes somewhere. But that was exact the mood what I felt there. It was so powerful and mystic, believe me.
I found the images today on an old hard drive and wanna share them with you.
