This pond is just as murky as it looks, its called Tea Pond due to its acidity with a PH of 2.5. That is stronger than your stomach acid.
It was formed due to rain water run off from the quarry surrounding the pond. So all of the heavy metals have gathered in this pond. Causing its PH to drop to very acidic levels, with high amounts of sulfuric acid making the water appear as Tea.. for sure a negative aspect of mining for minerals.
