Yamaha YZF-R1 is quite a special bike for me as this is the bike which got me dreaming about superbikes since the year it was launched. And when the 2008 model came out i was totally in love with the way it looks. It's got that perfect blend of elegance and a bit of a "I MEAN BUSINESS" look to it, Its just amazing. Personally i feel this is the best looking R1 till date. And i was fortunate enough to have this particular bike which you see down below in my possession and what am amazing time i had with this bike, loved it.
Highway is the place where this bike really shines. the way it goes and that beautiful exhaust note, even the stock sound is beautiful all on it's own. Yes this bike has a few flaws, it's absolute horrid to ride in the city, gets heated up so bad you just cannot ride if you are wearing anything less than a jeans pant and it's got a bit of a lag in the initial range. But it's like how you love your kids even though they are quite annoying at times, you still love and adore them.
